Fillings

Fillings

Your own tooth is the best tooth. The aim of conservative dentistry is to repair damaged teeth and preserve them for as long as possible, with modern materials and minimally invasive techniques.

Tooth-coloured composite fillings

We remove caries gently and restore the tooth with high-quality composite fillings that are barely distinguishable from the natural tooth. They are durable, stable and aesthetically convincing.

For larger defects: inlays and partial crowns

If a filling is no longer sufficient, we restore the tooth with precision ceramic inlays or partial crowns, based on a digital scan, with no unpleasant impression material.

Frequently asked questions

Is the treatment painful?

No, fillings are placed under local anaesthesia, on request also with nitrous oxide sedation.

Do old amalgam fillings have to be replaced?

Intact fillings do not necessarily have to go. We advise you honestly on when replacement makes sense, for example with cracks, leaking margins or new caries.
