Snoring & sleep apnoea

Snoring & sleep apnoea

Snoring strains sleep, relationships and health. For snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnoea, an individually made snoring appliance (mandibular advancement or protrusion splint) can help effectively, quietly and without a mask.

How the snoring appliance works

The mandibular advancement splint gently holds the lower jaw in a slightly forward position during sleep. This keeps the airways open, the snoring noise decreases and breathing pauses become rarer.

Assessment together with your physician

Whether sleep apnoea is present is clarified by your family doctor or a sleep laboratory. We make the appliance in line with the medical diagnosis; for severe sleep apnoea, the breathing mask (CPAP) remains the therapy of choice.

A precise fit thanks to digital impressions

The appliance is made from a digital scan of your teeth, entirely without impression material. It sits firmly, is slim and can be finely adjusted.
