Root canal treatment
Root canal treatment in Bottmingen – saving teeth with the surgical microscope
If the dental nerve is inflamed or has died, a root canal treatment can often still save the tooth. We perform this treatment under the Carl Zeiss surgical microscope – for maximum precision and the best chances of success.
Why the surgical microscope makes the difference
Root canals are often finer than a hair and highly branched. Under up to 25x magnification, we detect even the finest canals and completely remove inflamed tissue – details that remain invisible to the naked eye.
Low-pain and gentle
Thanks to modern anesthesia, the treatment is largely painless today. Using flexible nickel-titanium instruments and electronic length measurement, we prepare the canals precisely and gently before sealing them tightly.
Your own tooth is preserved
A successful root canal treatment saves you from tooth loss and complex dentures. As a member of the Swiss Society for Endodontology (SSE), we specialize in these treatments.
